John Dowless is a former Division 1 baseball player who graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with his degree in Exercise Science.

"Through the many ups and downs of my career, I have developed a passion for baseball performance training after realizing that even at the highest level, athlete development was severely lacking. Many of the ideas and systems currently used are outdated and have no factual based evidence to support them. In my college career, I saw that many of my teammates and I were willing to work, but never were given a thoughtfully planned out program designed to help us reach our individual goals. I believed athletes deserved better, so I started Cultivate Performance."
